If you write your own copy (or would like to try your hand at it), here are some pointers to keep in mind: ¯

Great copy uses words that sell, not words that “sing.”
Great copy does a “0 to 60” to get to the point and not lose its prospect’s attention along the way.
Great copy is clear and concise – not flowery, descriptive laden, or convoluted.
Great copy is about talking to the customer – not “self expression.”
Great copy is energetic – it uses positive, upbeat words that are “action-driven.”
Great copy explains all and assumes nothing.
Great copy is readily understood by all ages.
Great copy is “benefits loaded.”
Great copy says “more” with less.
Great copy persuades and informs; it is a good salesperson on paper.
